MISSION STATEMENT

The Association for Wedding Professionals, Int'l was formed to further the wedding industry through networking, marketing and promotions.  With a group effort, we will educate current and future wedding professionals in the area of marketing; set a standard for the wedding industry that focuses on ethics, professional behavior and working together to provide better services.  With these efforts, we expect to see growth for individual wedding professionals and, therefore the industry as  whole.

I am currently an active member of the Wisconsin Chapter of AfWPi, I started attending meetings over 2 years ago and was so impressed with the caliber of topics and professionals at the monthly mixers that I soon had no problem convincing our corporate office that this was a group with which we needed to be associated.  The biggest and most immediate benefit our company has enjoyed as member is the number of referrals gained from within this group.  We meet monthly to continue our education on important issues and topics affecting our industry.  Knowledge makes you strong and only increases the professionalism you bring to your clients.  That, along with the deep professional bonds I make with others in our wedding-related fields, makes me a much better asset to my brides.  Our company has also enjoyed advertising opportunities at incredibly inexpensive group rates we have secured with our member power.  The easiest way to show pride in your profession is to associate yourself with a group that supports and reinforces your knowledge and ethics.  AfWPi gives you a louder voice in
